The rules for using this website, and how they sit alongside our booking terms.

1. This website

templeofliteraturehanoi.com is run by Temple of Literature Hanoi Tours, Dong Da, Hanoi, Vietnam. By using it you accept these terms; for bookings our Booking Terms also apply and prevail where they differ.

2. Not the official site

This website is not the official website of the Temple of Literature and does not sell entrance tickets. We are a private tour operator, not the Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities, any site management board or any government body, and we do not act on their behalf. Place names are used only to describe where our tours go.

3. Accuracy of information

Opening hours, closures, ticket prices and travel times come from the sites themselves and are checked regularly, but others set them and they can change without warning — the mausoleum especially. If something matters to your plans, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

Prices are shown per group in US dollars and may change; your booking confirmation is the price that applies. If a page and your confirmation disagree, the confirmation prevails.

4. Our content

The text, photographs and design of this site are ours or used with permission. You are welcome to quote a short extract with a link back; republishing whole pages, selling our material or using it to train a commercial model needs our written consent.

5. Using the site fairly

Please do not try to disrupt or probe the site, make bookings with false details, or send bulk messages to our WhatsApp number. We may refuse or cancel bookings made on false information.

6. Other websites

Links to maps, museums or theatres lead to sites we do not control and are not responsible for.

7. Governing law

These terms follow Vietnamese law, with the courts of Hanoi having jurisdiction. They do not remove any rights you have as a consumer in your own country.
